Another winter week in the SPFL, another game cancelled. This time Aberdeen and St. Johnstone’s game was cancelled due to a water-logged pitch, making it the seventh match that has been cancelled in the SPFL Premiership since December. Something needs to be done, whether it be a winter break (which is returning next season in some capacity) or the much discussed move to Summer football. The summer months do not guarantee good weather in Scotland but having teams in midseason form when they start European qualifying could help the much maligned Scottish football coefficient. It certainly couldn’t get lower, you would think. Anyways, along with updated some advanced stats tables, I have updated some charts as well.
